WHY HAS MY EPOXY NOT SET?. Epoxies are made of two liquid components, a resin and a hardener. If the adhesive has not set it may be because the resin and hardener were not mixed in equal quantities – to ensure even distribution point tip upwards so the air bubble start to disperse and eliminate air by slowly pushing plunger until both resin and hardener are at the tip.
